According to the IFPI’s Global Music Report 2025, the industry marked its 10th consecutive year of growth, with total revenue hitting $29.6 billion in 2024 — a 4.8% increase from the previous year.

Streaming revenue surged past $20 billion, now making up nearly 70% of the global market. Sub-Saharan Africa also saw impressive growth, with a 22.6% increase in revenue, surpassing $100 million for the first time. This backdrop of global expansion and success underscores Adeniji’s influence in shaping the future of Africa’s music industry on the global stage
