Global music icon Angélique Kidjo has officially announced her forthcoming album HOPE!!, set for release on April 24, 2026, marking the legendary Béninoise singer’s 19th studio album and her first major solo project since the critically acclaimed Mother Nature in 2021.
The new record will be released via Parlophone / Warner Music and arrives after a five-year creative process that Kidjo says was deeply personal and intentional
The upcoming album is expected to showcase a wide global palette, featuring an impressive lineup of collaborators spanning Africa and the international music landscape.
Among the artists appearing on Angélique Kidjo ‘s project are Davido, Ayra Starr, Pharrell Williams, Nile Rodgers, Quavo, Charlie Wilson, Fally Ipupa and Diamond Platnumz, alongside additional appearances from PJ Morton, IZA, Dadju and the Soweto Gospel Choir.


The project reflects Angélique Kidjo ‘s long-standing commitment to bridging African sounds with global musical conversations.
The album also carries a deeply emotional dimension. Kidjo revealed that HOPE!! is dedicated to her late mother, Yvonne, whose influence helped shape the spirit of the project.
According to the singer, the record seeks to transmit a message of joy, resilience and connection during a time of global uncertainty, reinforcing the idea that music remains a powerful unifying force across cultures.
Leading the rollout is the first single “Fall on Me,” a collaboration with PJ Morton, which introduces the album’s uplifting sonic direction.
With its blend of African rhythms, global pop sensibilities and cross-continental collaborations, HOPE!! further solidifies Kidjo’s reputation as one of Africa’s most influential musical ambassadors, continuing a career that has shaped global perceptions of African music for decades.
