Homecoming Festival 2025 —Lagos’ Premier Cultural Convergence

HomeComing Festival 2025

As part of our commitment to telling the stories that shape African sound and style, Music Custodian was live on ground at Homecoming 2025. The festival commenced with an immersive art tour, guiding attendees through Lagos’ rich artistic landscape. Highlights included visits to O’DA Art Gallery, featuring works by Soji Adesina, and the iconic Nike Art Gallery, where attendees experienced a tapestry of Nigerian artistry.

It was a weekend of immersion, conversation, connection, and creative witnessing. And we’ll be rolling out visual stories and interviews across our platforms in the coming weeks to share this with the community.

The Summit at Ebonylife Cinemas offered a platform for meaningful conversations. Panels delved into topics like brand identity in music, with DJ Spinall sharing insights on personal branding, and discussions on the importance of archiving Nigeria’s musical history. As night fell, the city pulsed with energy during the Homecoming Festival 2025 Hi-Fi rave. DJs like Sons of Ubuntu and Aniko electrified the crowd, setting the stage for the festival’s climax.

Backstage, we hosted a series of artist interviews post-performance, with real-time reactions, unfiltered conversations, and candid reflections from some of the weekend’s standout acts. Artists shared insight into their creative journeys, fan love, and what Homecoming personally meant to them. These sit-downs revealed a deeper layer to the glam and roar of performance nights.

Fashion was at the forefront, with pop-up shops and showcases highlighting the creativity of Nigerian designers. Attendees donned eclectic styles, reflecting the country’s vibrant fashion scene and the festival’s role in promoting cultural expression.

Beyond the events, Homecoming Festival 2025 fostered a sense of unity and pride among attendees. It served as a testament to Lagos’ position as a cultural epicenter, bridging the gap between local creatives and the global stage. A genius initiative that has once again proven that Lagos isn’t just a city—it’s a cultural lighthouse, attracting dreamers, creatives, and innovators from across the globe.

As custodians of sound, story, and spirit, we’re honored to have been present, stay tuned for exclusive interviews, visual recaps, and on-the-ground footage—because this was an event that’s a timestamp of where the culture is — and where it’s headed next.
