Q: How has your personal background influenced your kind of music?
Lanky Makaveli:
Lanky Makaveli is a star who has a lot of love to give despite my past and what I have been through. I’m a goal achiever; I always go for what I want. I have a lot of love to give and a lot of love to receive.

Q: Can you share some of your notable achievements in the past that have shaped your career?
Lanky Makaveli:
Well, no awards or achievements have shaped my career; it was just my love and passion for music. Personally, I have a lot of love for music, and I believe I’m a messenger.

Musical Style & Influence

Q: How would you classify your musical style?
Lanky Makaveli:
I wouldn’t classify myself strictly as an Afrobeat artist; I see myself as an Afro-fusion artist. I love to explore other sounds.

Q: Which reputable artist inspired your career?
Lanky Makaveli:
I would say Burna Boy; he has influenced me a lot.

Q: Can you give us an overview of your catalog?
Lanky Makaveli:
The love so far has been massive, and I appreciate it. It’s a process; we just have to keep working and keep dropping more songs and singles.

Q: What can we expect from you next?
Lanky Makaveli:
I’m currently working on a couple of tracks and have an EP on the way with some crazy tunes. You’ll be dancing non-stop.

Q: Are you working with any creatives for your new projects?
Lanky Makaveli:
Yes, I’m working with a couple of creatives and am open to working with more. My team is doing an amazing job, and I can’t wait to share this with my fans.

Q: When should we expect your new music?
Lanky Makaveli:
The EP should be out in the third quarter of the year, by God’s grace. Just be on the lookout.

Q: Will there be any tours or performances soon?
Lanky Makaveli:
Yes, I will be doing a couple of tours, school tours, and performances here and there.

Q: Are there any collaborations on the way?
Lanky Makaveli:
For now, there are no collaborations. It’s just raw Lanky Makaveli music. I want to relate with my people first.

Q: Can you list five artists you would love to collaborate with in the near future?
Lanky Makaveli:
I would love to work with Rema, Runtown, Bella Shmurda, and a lot of upcoming artists. I believe in collaboration, networking, and working together.

Lanky Makaveli:
I have really enjoyed the love and support. It’s a process. I’m not really a social media person, but I’m trying to open up more.

Q: Apart from your music, are there any future plans you want to share?
Lanky Makaveli:
All I can say is Lanky Makaveli is coming. Big things are coming; just watch out.

Q: Can you tell us the title and inspiration behind your upcoming EP?
Lanky Makaveli:
I have a title for it already, but I’ll keep it private for now. The inspiration behind my EP has been my ups and downs, from the grassroots and everything I have faced.

Q: How many tracks make up the EP?
Lanky Makaveli:
The EP comprises seven amazing tracks with no features, just working with amazing producers and exploring my sound.

Q: Do you have a favorite track off the EP?
Lanky Makaveli:
I don’t have a favorite track. Pay attention to everything. I put my all into this EP.

Q: Tell us about a notable experience when creating this project.
Lanky Makaveli:
A lot happened, but I don’t have a specific moment. I’ve been enjoying myself, exploring my sound, and creating beautiful music. The process has been fun.

Rollout for the Project

Q: What are the plans for promoting your new project?
Lanky Makaveli:
My team has been working tirelessly to promote it properly because I want people to hear this new project.

Q: Are there any release party plans for the project?
Lanky Makaveli:
I’ll be doing a couple of club performances and school tours. I don’t think I’m doing a listening party for the EP at this moment.

Lanky Makaveli will be doing amazing things, conquering different countries, and winning big.
