Sony Music West Africa has unveiled Bloom & Bloom 2026, its flagship Women’s Month initiative created to commemorate International Women’s Day while spotlighting the women shaping Africa’s creative and business landscape.
Now in its latest edition, Bloom & Bloom continues to evolve beyond a commemorative gathering into a purposeful cultural convening designed to bridge influence, access, and opportunity across the continent’s creative industries.
Anchored on this year’s International Women’s Day theme, “Give to Gain,” the initiative challenges traditional notions of success and reframes growth as a shared ecosystem — one where mentorship, collaboration, ownership, and long-term thinking are central to building sustainable legacies.

The first day of the experience, scheduled for March 19, will feature the Greenhouse Panel Sessions, an intimate forum bringing together creators, founders, executives, and cultural leaders for candid conversations around intellectual property, scaling creative brands into viable businesses, and building institutions that endure beyond trends.
The session will host a distinguished lineup of speakers including Mimi Chaka, Kiekie, Odunayo Eweniyi (Co-founder of PiggyVest), Tosin Ajibade (Founder of OloriSuperGal Media), Alex Asogwa, and Victoria Nkong, among others, offering practical insights drawn from their experiences across music, media, technology, entrepreneurship, and culture.
The two-day experience will culminate on March 20 with the Bloom & Bloom Mixer, an invitation-only gathering welcoming guests from across music, film, fashion, technology, entrepreneurship, and media. Designed as both celebration and catalyst, the mixer aims to foster meaningful connections that spark collaborations, mentorships, investments, and partnerships beyond Women’s Month.
Bloom & Bloom 2026 is supported by Tolaram Group, Flying Fish, MISKAY, Hip TV, Audio Girl Africa, Echoo Room, Severe Nature, and other partners aligned with the mission of advancing women’s leadership and expanding access within Africa’s creative and corporate ecosystems.
As global conversations around International Women’s Day continue to emphasize accelerated action and structural change, Sony Music West Africa positions Bloom & Bloom as more than a symbolic moment of recognition. Instead, it is designed as a strategic platform that moves the conversation from visibility to value, from applause to access, and from inspiration to implementation.
Through initiatives like Bloom & Bloom, Sony Music West Africa continues to extend its role beyond music into broader cultural leadership, building platforms that champion equity, innovation, and long-term impact across the region.
